INNspiration Urban Mobility: Farsang Info Day

Budapest, Hungary – The "INNspiration Urban Mobility: Farsang Info Day" was a success, attracting participants from the urban mobility industry. The info-sharing event provided valuable insights into the Urban Mobility programs and offered attendees the opportunity to network with experts, innovators and peers in the industry.

The event featured keynote speakers  from EIT Urban Mobility providing a comprehensive overview of the current open calls . Attendees  had the opportunity to learn about the various programs offered by EIT Urban Mobility and how to obtain investment for their business. Among the opening speakers Ákos Dervalics, CEO of Green Brother, manager of EIT Urban Mobility RIS HUB Hungary gave an introduction to EIT Urban Mobility in Hungary and presented Green Brother overview of 2022. Taylor Sawyer, Entrepreneurial Innovation Officer at EIT Urban Mobility presented Innovation Small Call for Start-ups and SMEs to develop and pilot solutions in an agile manner.  Yann Simon, Agile Innovation Officer at EIT Urban Mobility gave detailed information about RAPTOR Agile Innovation Call. Anna Burgués, RIS Business Creation at EIT Urban Mobility spoke about Impact Ventures: permanently open call. One of the highlights of the event was the opportunity for attendees to hear one of last year's RAPTOR winners - BitaGreen, and hear about their journey in the urban mobility industry and  Accelerator Program Experience by Tourmix. The cocktail hour provided a platform for attendees to network, share business ideas, and make valuable connections.  

Tamás Tuske, start-up for sustainable intra-city parcel transport Logistics companies highlighted "It is really interesting to see what kind of programms are available for start ups like we. And I am appreciating that one of the programs is a very well fit with us, a company with activity in smart city logistics”. 

"I'm excited to see the experiences and feedback from startups that are very positive about participating in the EIT Urban Mobility programs. We would like to follow start-ups about your professional gain and we have different stages of programs for different maturity for the start-ups said Bence Huba, RIS manager at EIT Urban Mobility
